I'm considering buying a router and I would like one that causes the minimum of problems when I play Supreme Commander.
Can anyone recommend a router that has things like low delay and is easy and reliable to set up and control as regards having the right ports open to make Supreme Commander work properly.

The only thing I would suggest is that you do NOT buy Belkin.
Thomson routers are not really for the retails market. They are bought primarily by ISP's and are locked down to the ISP's requirements.
However they are really great routers with features that far exceed their price, and if you know what you are doing they work with supcom just great.
Netgear and Dlink are pretty decent retail consumer devices. I think you are probably best going with netgear though. They are easy to set up and theres plenty of documentation online.
Other considerations though are, where are you located, who is your ISP, what DSLAM chipsets are they using? (if you know).|||The TP-Link TL-WR1043ND is pretty "in" right now. It also support DD-WRT and possibly other alternative linux firmwares.
The Linksys E1000, E2000 and E3000 are also pretty good. The E2000 and E3000 are pretty pricey though.|||shoot2kill|||yeah, belkin suck the wang. i would recommend netgear.

Experimental Wars 2.0 Bug ?
I just discovered this mod and it has a lot of truly nice features but it actually sucks if what I found is actually part of the mod and not a bug.
I found a 1.92 version and everytime I was into the game building up a force and my Commander was destroyed,everything that I had ,buildings ,jets ships at sea...made no difference,everything instantly was destroyed.
I set the mod to the Supramacy and then Annihilation and still the same thing happens.
I then downloaded the Version 2.0 and the same thing happens so if this is part of the mod then please fix it because after a Commander is destroyed the game should not end.
I could see this happening in the Assassination mode but it happens regardless.|||post this in the correct thread next time?|||AFAIK this is NOT a bug.

It was made (coded) to be played this way.

always grab latest releases of mods through official provider (GPGnet)
The consequence of ACU's death remains in version 2.
I'm not sure that Asdrubael wants to change this.|||Issue has been solved, its not a bug and actually a design feature so I'll be locking this thread now, furthur conversation regarding this feature should take place in the Mod's Forum Thread.

Firebase Mod ?
Where can I download the Firebase mod for SCFA ?
