I've have SupCom 1 but not Forged Alliance. Will everything work correctly if I have the DVD installed version of vanilla and download Forged Alliance from Direct2Drive? Has anyone had problems with the DRM in the download version, Securom?
Also, what happens if I lose the Forged Alliance installation from a crash? Will they just let me download it again?|||FA is standalone. Unless you want to play the campaign (or vanilla balance I suppose, ick), there is no need to keep vanilla installed.
As far as I know D2D and other sites will let you download repeatedly.|||pkc|||Impulse, GamersGate (I think), and Games for Windows Marketplace. I haven't used Impulse or GG, but my experiences with GFWM have been flawless.|||ponchato
