Give us a replay, we'll help you out.|||LOL, I think I'm too ashamed to post a replay here...|||Build a Land factory, 4 Pgens, 4 Mass Extractors, then go right to T2 while making a T1 force to defend yourself against attacks XD Tis what I do, and It works out fairly well for me, even against a Sorian AI XD|||wow....you must be REALLY bad....do you play with your monitor off?
Use a good economy. Take a quick look at what a factory needs in energy and mass to build a tank. Having four factories constantly build tanks is more than enough to beat the easy AI.
Target the enemy mass extractors and power plants.
On a large map. Go for economy and a lot of engineers. As soon as you can construct T3 buildings and Experimentals, build a Monkeylord/GC/Ythota/Fatboy and use it for assault. The fatboy is easily destroyed so that's going to require some additional support in the form of T3 fighters and Gunships. Otherwise build a strategic missile and launch it on the enemy base if they don't have T3 missile defence (easy to check with spy planes).|||Plasma_Wolf|||Just so you know, a great many custom maps out there don't work well with the AI, as they lack markers telling the AI where to go, build bases, etc. At least that's what I understand.
Versus the AI, I've noticed they love to use lone engineers sent in transports to capture your mass extractors, so consider putting up a point defense and anti-air tower near those spots, or keep a tank or two nearby.|||Falcrack|||You'll find you're getting thrashed if you go on-line for the first time and try a 1v1 game on a small map. See to it that you can kill an easy AI on maps like Theta passage or Open Palms within the 10 minute marker.
If you can't figure out how to do that, just ask again and tell what you've been doing so far to get as close to that 10 min as possible.
