Hack, Mod or Patch.....Mind Games is BROKEN

I'm not a big fan of Real Time Strategy games. I never play online, only against the computer AI. I prefer turn-based games, but there are not enough good ones out there, so I make do with RTS.
So, with that understood and up-front, here's my request. I'm searching for a patch, mod, cheat or other fix that will make the speed of Supreme Commander Forged Alliance manageable for me.
Some possible fixes:
1. A slider for speed, similar to the one used (for example) in the game "Original War"
2. The ability to pause the game, scroll around the map, issue orders to individual units, then have those orders execute after the game is resumed.
I don't like work. I don't like frustration. I don't like frantic pace.
I play games to get AWAY from those sorts of real-life hells.
I like control. I like reward. I like fun.
The scenario named "Mind Games" in Supreme Commander Forged Alliance is not well balanced. The supposedly "Easy" setting is just insanely difficult.
I've noticed several posts on the internet complaining about how difficult this one is. I can't be the only person who feels this way. Surely, there is a fix out there, somewhere?|||bearcat22|||All I hear is whining Whining Whining. Mind games isnt that hard really. It requires STRATEGY to beat a Strategy game... You have to work for victory.
The games are always on default +0 (Normal game speed) If its too fast, you have set the game speed previously, and it was stuck on that speed.|||It will be hard for a player who has never played RTSes before or has never played SupCom/TA before. Don't be so inconsiderate, brandon. The hardest part I'd assume is resource management to counter the spam of enemy units.
I'd suggest playing a few skirmish games against an easy AI to get used to the economy system and mechanics of the game (there are many mechanics to this game). Then notch the difficulty up to medium. Then go back to the campaign.|||X-Cubed|||Don't dig up old threads, some of which are pretty much irrelevant to your question then post a new thread with again, the same question. After all that, don't needlessly PM moderators to once more ask the same question. Ask the question once and wait. Patience is a virtue. Consider this thread locked.
