Version for Multiplayer?

[:1]Just out of curiosity, what version of SC:FA is everyone using for multiplayer? I was thinking about trying my hand at some multiplayer games since I am still relatively new at this and was just wondering which version everyone was using so that I would be compatible with the hosts.
Thanks in advance!|||The last official version is 1.5.3599
Normaly GPGnet provides an auto-patch function, but it seems to be bugged the last time. So you can apply the Patches manually, you can find there here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43669
gl&hf playing online :D|||Be sure you run it as admin and the WinXP SP3 compatibility mode.
Enjoy your game ;)|||Thanks guys. I have the most recent official patch, I was just wondering if that was what the majority of people were using these days or whether they are using the unofficial 3603 beta patch.
If everyone is still using the 3599 patch, then I am good to go. Thanks!|||I would say don't install the official 3603 beta patch from GPG, but there is a 3603 mod which can be downloaded from the GPG Net vault which can be enabled or disabled easily enough. Most games are played without the need for mods, but if you need a mod for a particular game, most of them are easily downloaded from the vault.|||Don't use the beta patch from the forum. It's rly old.
If you are logged on GPGnet go to the vault(Tools~>Vault) And download the v6.1 of it.
How do you doing it? ~>Search only "3603" And download the first 3603 patchmod from "Legion_darrath"(V 6.1).

Prince|||Thanks again guys. I wish all game communities were so helpful to new players. Oh, Falcrack mentioned that someone could easily enable/disable the mod. I have a few friends of mine that are waiting for FA in the mail and once they get it we plan on playing together, but if they don't/don't want to get the mod how do I disable it without having to uninstall the game and update it with the official patch in order to play with them?|||The mod will be turned off automatically if you join a game where the host doesn't have it/didn't turn it on. If you're the host and they don't have it it's also turned off automatically. If they do have it you can turn it off the same way you turned it on, by using the in game mod manager.
This is of course assuming you had it turned on before joining/hosting.
