Hey, im a huge fan of supreme commander (ive played at friends houses and have it for xbox) and im getting a new pc soon and hopefully, i can run this awesome game. my specs are
PROCESSOR Overclocked Intel® Core™ i7 930 Quad Core Processor (3.36GHz, 8MB Cache)
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64Bit, English
MEMORY 12GB Triple Channel 1333MHz DDR3
VIDEO CARD Dual 2GB ATI Radeon™ HD 6950 - ATI CrossFireX™ Enabled
^to me it seems pretty poweerful, but im not the most tech savy person out there, so a second opinion is always good to have. thanks in advance.|||Yes, quite nicely. It's going to cost a lot, and might be a bit overkill. Are you sure you need to spend that much?
That said, you still need to install the AI patch mod.
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=23929|||That will run the game with no problems whatsoever (unless there's some system incompatibility, which shouldn't occur since SupCom is pretty mature by now). But if you want to run the original SupCom, you will still need to run Core Maximizer. If you haven't already gotten the expansion pack SupCom: Forged Alliance, I'd recommend that since FA is better than vanilla in almost every respect. FA is the only game of the 2 to still have an active community as well.|||That will run it with out any issues untill is sim speeds lags on long games.
make sure that all ms updates are installed 1st as supcom + gpgnet sometimes like to pull hissy fits.|||If you don't mind, what's the price of this computer your purchasing?
