graphic problems/missing effects

I got the game a year ago and i noticed a problem with the graphics, all the effects are not there, for example when you destroyer a bulding small explosions start going off then the entire bulding explodes. when I destroy a bulding the small explosins are not there but the sound effects are there and the screan shacking is there to but not the visual effect. another example is the bombers manily the cybrain and the uef bombers. when the uef drop their bombs the sound effect is there but not the explosion only the burnt ground appears and not a fire ball, also when the tec 3 bomber drops its bomb a bright square aperars. the same can be said with the cybrain bombers as well. btw i turned the graphics on high and they are not there. can any one help me solve this problem so i can get the full qualty of this game?|||Reinstall and update the game. Patches can be found here. I assume you are using the original SupCom, so use the retail -> 3280 patch.
Also, the UEF T3 bomber in original SupCom does have a bug where the bomb explosion is a white square. There is nothing you can do about that.|||What are you gpu settings in the game its selfs.
Update gpu drivers and delete game.prefs located ~

also delete the cashe folder as it maybe an issue there 2
